About the event

Mystery, dreams and intrigue. ‘Night’ has been a source of inspiration for composers all over the world.

This performance, inspired by night will combine solo piano and duo pieces with an immersive visual projection, featuring best-loved pieces; Chopin’s Nocturnes and Debussy’s Clair de Lune, alongside exciting new compositions with electronics and visuals by composers of RCM Delyth Field and Rieko Makita.

With the help of RCM Studios, this concert intends to showcase the innovative technological capabilities of the newly renovated Performance Studio; its ability to create an immersive concert experience which goes beyond the traditional classical music setting. With the use of surround sound of electronic sounds, manipulation of light and visual projection, the audience will become immersed in ‘the night’.
